What Size Mattress Fits in a Fleetwood RV

Frontier GTX

The Frontier GTX is a Class A-diesel motorhome and the newest addition to the Fleetwood line of RVs. The Frontier GTX model comes in two different floor plans which feature a Freightliner custom raised rail chassis, freedom sport foundation, Cummins 6.7L, 360HP engine and Allison 3000 series, and 6-speed transmission for a ride that’s always smooth.

The Frontier GTX 37 RT floor plan is outfitted with a standard king size bed, while the 39TA floor plan comes with a short queen, or RV Queen, bed. Pace Arrow

The Pace Arrow is a Class A-Diesel motorhome. While it may be a compact model, it is not short on luxury features. You can enjoy all the comforts of home while on the road. Some of the features that come standard with the Pace Arrow include, two LED TVs (a 32” and a 50”) power driver and passenger seats, a fully furnished residential kitchen, ultra leather upholstery & a recessed fireplace.

The Pace Arrow 33D and 35 BP are outfitted with a short queen bed, or RV Queen size, while the 36U contains a standard queen size bed. If you are interested in the 33D or 35P, the Original RV mattress or the Azul RV Mattress are great options as they are both available in the shorter RV Queen size. For the 36U, both Sleepdog® mattress or the BigDawg Mattress™, in addition to the Original RV and Azul RV mattresses, are available in the standard Queen size. All four mattresses are designed to relieve pressure points in any sleep position and are constructed with SureAlign® support foam to minimize motion transfer, offering you a peaceful night’s sleep on every adventure.

Flair

The Flair is a Class A Motorhome with plenty of stylish features such as the Hide-A-Loft™ electric drop-down bed, 50” Exterior LED television, and a Ford engine & Ford chassis that will give you an incredible ride. The Flair may be a bit smaller than other Class A’s, but smaller can be better! Smaller motorhomes are easier to maneuver, they get better fuel mileage, and they will still provide you with plenty of space and comfort.

All models of the Flair come equipped with a short king, or RV King size bed. The stock mattresses that come with the Flair may not be the most durable, so when it comes time to upgrade your RV mattress, a Sleepdog® Mattressesmay be the perfect choice. All four RV mattresses are also DOT approved, meaning they meet the Department of Transportation’s qualifications for an over-the-road mattress.

Southwind

The Fleetwood Southwind is a spacious Class A motorhome that is considered the “King of the Road." This model gives you more than enough room to move around and enjoy your journey. The new 36GL floor plan features a master suite, open concept kitchen, and residential furniture by Apex custom furniture. After a long day on the road, there’s no better place to stretch out and relax than the Southwind.

Three of the four Southwind RV models, the 34C, 35K and 37F, are equipped with an RV king size bed. Bounder

The Bounder is classified as a Class A motorhome. This model has been a popular choice among recreational vehicle owners for many years! Fleetwood has added some new features to the Bounder that make it stand out from its predecessors, such as, the new Adap-table® dinette with pop-up TV and Waterproof Tarkett® flooring. The bedroom offers a large wardrobe and lots of storage space making this motorhome an excellent choice for RV enthusiasts.

Fortis

The Fortis is a Class A motorhome with a 350-horsepower engine and 8,000 lb. towing capacity. Fleetwood has incorporated all the latest technulogy and amenities in their 2023 Fortis including the Hide-A-Loft™ electric drop-down bed, a washer and dryer options on all floor plans, and an Exterior Entertainment Center with LED/TV.

The Fortis is available in four different floor plans, the 32RW, 33HB, 34MB and 36DB all outfitted with an RV King mattress, and the 36Y floor plan is complete with an RV Queen mattress. The RV King size measures 72 inches wide by 75 inches long, only 2 inches narrower and 5 inches shorter than a standard king size, and the RV Queen size comes in at 60 inches wide by 75 inches long.
